River Center receives $5,000 Donation from Jupiter Inlet District

“Jupiter Inlet District understands the value of educating and engaging the public in environmental stewardship,” said Jupiter Inlet District Executive Director Mike Grella. “We are happy to support the River Center, which does an excellent job of providing opportunities for the community to learn more about the river and get involved in its preservation.”
The River Center, located at Burt Reynolds Park in Jupiter, presents an exciting exploration of the Loxahatchee River. Visitors enjoy some of the area's largest aquatic exhibits, along with interactive and multi-media presentations that lead them along an exciting journey about the river's unique habitats, colorful history and diverse wildlife. Presented by the Loxahatchee River District, visitors of all ages have the opportunity to learn where their water comes from, how it is consumed and recycled, and the importance of preserving our natural resources. There is even a touch tank to get up close and personal with fascinating aquatic life.

The River Center is located at 805 North U.S. Highway One in Jupiter at Burt Reynolds Park. It is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 9am to 4pm.
