As we finalize our plans and preparations for this storm, it is imperative that you communicate your personal plans (shelter in place or evacuate) with your supervisor. Please keep your supervisor updated if your plans change.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your expected role during and following these emergency conditions, please contact your supervisor or director immediately.

I very much appreciate your willingness to do whatever is necessary to get things back in order following this storm. In the event you cannot make it back to work as required by your staffing designation, please contact your Supervisor via their cell phone or the District’s emergency phone (561-747-5708), which is monitored 24/7.  If phone lines are not operable, attempt to send an e-mail to your supervisor and copy HR@lrecd.org.  This is to ensure that the District receives an accurate accounting of all District Staff.

In addition to our ongoing preparations at work, I strongly encourage you to secure your home and personal possessions. Whether you’re working at home or for the District, remember to work safely. We all need your personal commitment to safety.
